În Snina, Slovakia, an international training brought together youthworkers from Slovakia, Greece, Serbia, and Romania — all united by a common goal: to better understand and combat fake news and online manipulation. 

Each partner had the opportunity and responsibility to lead their own workshop, sharing tools and strategies to help young people critically evaluate information and resist disinformation.

It was an inspiring experience filled with cross-cultural collaboration, fresh ideas, and a shared commitment to building a more informed and resilient society. 

Beyond the insightful workshops, participants engaged in dynamic discussions, hands-on activities, and real-life case studies that deepened their understanding of media literacy and digital responsibility. 

From exploring how algorithms shape our online experiences to learning fact-checking techniques and debunking viral hoaxes, the training offered practical skills that participants can now pass on to the young people they work with. 

Team-building games, and shared meals added a human touch to the experience, creating bonds that go beyond borders and lasting networks of cooperation. 

This training was not just about learning — it was about empowering a generation of youthworkers to become champions of truth in an age of information overload.
