Day 1 – Media Deconstruction & Debunking the Deepfake

The event kicked off with great energy in Leskovac, Serbia! 

The workshop led by Asociația Susține (Romania) taught participants how to critically analyze media messages, identify bias, and deconstruct headlines and visuals.

Later, a trainer from INPLANET (Greece) explained how to detect manipulated or AI-generated content. 

 In the afternoon, Trening Centar (Serbia) organized a guided tour of Leskovac’s historical center, including visits to the National Museum, City Hall, City Church, and the old Odžaklija Church — a perfect mix of learning and culture! 

 Day 2 – Construct Your Own Headline: Understand Framing and Perspective

The workshop led by STEP (Slovakia) turned news writing into a creative challenge! 

Working in small teams, participants created contrasting headlines — one positive, one negative — for the same factual event, exploring how framing influences public perception and emotional response. 

Day 3 – Ways of Recognition of Fake News & Improving Media Literacy on Social Networks

The final day focused on an essential topic: recognizing fake news and improving media literacy on social platforms.

The workshop was led by journalist Emilija Mladenović from Leskovac and trainer Nikola Stevanović. 

Participants discovered useful websites and apps to check the authenticity of news, photos, and videos. 

 At the end, all participants received certificates of participation, marking the successful conclusion of the second LTTA training within the project.
