The project

This project addresses the urgent need to combat the spread of misinformation and fake news in the digital era. Through strategic European collaboration, it seeks to strengthen the capacity of youth workers and young people to navigate the online world with critical awareness and responsibility.

Objectives

The project is built upon the following concrete objectives:

  1. Enhance professional capacities of partner organizations
Strengthen the professional development of all participating organizations by fostering European cooperation and exchange. Partners will gain new digital competencies and non-formal educational methodologies focused on media literacy, critical thinking, and combating misinformation. These shared practices will contribute to the overall quality and innovation of youth work.
  2. Strengthen critical thinking and media literacy among young people
Equip young people with tools to critically evaluate media content, identify media biases, and recognize patterns of fake news and disinformation. The project encourages active and reflective media consumptionrather than passive reception of information. Through non-formal learning, participants will become more discerning users of digital media.
  3. Promote digital citizenship through youth empowerment
Empower young people to become active digital citizens, capable of initiating social change online. A key outcome will be their co-creation and implementation of a 3-day Online Activism Campaign, aimed at raising awareness and mobilizing their communities against fake news and online manipulation.

Create a sustainable knowledge-sharing platform
Establish a WEB platform that will serve as a dynamic hub for collecting and disseminating the best tools, practices, and non-formal educational methods developed by the partners. This platform will serve both as an archive of project results and an ongoing resource for youth workers, educators, and NGOs.

Our main goal is to create an environment and conditions for young people, their development and the possibilities for self-realization. We want to create a platform for young people to support leadership, entrepreneurial thinking, critical thinking and broadening.
